Another official portrait underway!

December 2020: Ma Ly was commissioned to paint the official portrait of Dr. Joseph Castro, President of California State University, Fresno. It will be added in 2021 to the University’s collection of the past seven Presidents since 1911. http://www.fresnostate.edu/president/investiture/about-fresno-state/presidents.html

Below is the official photo on the university’s website but the portrait painting will be done from other reference photos.

  1. Yahoo, I hope you make a light background, or put him in front of large BOJO flowered wallpaper, or in a chair with carved arm rests and ornately carved back or head rest. Stories of Fresno Stat later to come when the subject is more about me!
